Solving the mask shortage - wear a mask please

Been working the past 4 months in a very high traffic retail environment and have not worn a mask once, like most of my coworkers. Not one of us has gotten sick. My girlfriend that lives with me caught it from being stupid and going out with friends on the weekends.

So despite living with someone who tested positive and interacting with hundreds of customers a day at work, not wearing a mask has had zero impact on me catching it. If I haven't gotten it by now, I'm not suddenly going to start wearing a mask and breathing in my own carbon dioxide just to make someone else feel safer.

Can't argue that one! I applaud you sir.

Fine.....you win. I'll start wearing my mask tomorrow.

And I'll socially distance when I'm out and about...

Good questions to ask. I have yearly bloodwork done and try to stay on top of health issues. My mom had us taking vitamins, not Flintstones, before it was a common practice. Personally I take zinc, c, e, d3, msm, glucosamine, niacin, fish oil, lecithin, and more on a daily basis. No guarantees that I won't get Covid-19 or some other illness, but I very seldom get sick and when I do it doesn't last long. One benefit since I added zinc and upped my c dosage is my sinuses don't bother me nearly as much.
I've been talking vitamin V seems to be working. That's V for Vodka.

Hmmm... I seem to remember NOT wearing masks and staying home for a month were going to end this thing. Well, I did that. And it did nothing but crush the economy.

Yeah, I'm bitter, and in the words of The Who... won't get fooled again.

I did what they wanted, now I'll do what I want.

There are plenty of garbage masks and hand sanitizer on the shelves nowadays, if anyone's looking. Antibacterial wipes by the pallet at Wal-Mart. No isopropanol though. Or Lysol. There's an anti-gun distillery in Lilburn selling sanitizer by the gallon too, but I saw the anti-gun sign and left.

Incidentally, the masks with ear loops don't do much if anything to protect you, but might keep you from spreading it. And since a quarter of the folks at the airport Monday (including staff), had the masks under their nose, it's all just lip service anyway. What a joke.

Day six after that flight; I guess I didn't catch it.

Since mask nazis are incapable of doing math, I'm gonna do it for ya...

https://coronavirus.jhu.edu/data/state-timeline/new-confirmed-cases/california/60 Average daily cases in California have increased from 3,385 on the day of Gubna Newsom's idiotic mask mandate order to 8,889 as of July 16. That's an increase of 162%....

Facts and actual science have proven how wrong you are yet again so what's next??? :confused2: Oh and this increase can be explained as well, but figure it out on your own...

Get out of here with "Science." The Enlightenment was a hoax.

He calls a flawed contract tracing report skience... :pound:

And since we're doing CDC links. But, but, but muh delays...

"Based on death certificate data, the percentage of deaths attributed to pneumonia, influenza or COVID-19 (PIC) decreased from 8.1% during week 27 to 6.4% during week 28, representing the twelfth week of a declining percentage of deaths due to PIC." https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/covid-data/covidview/index.html

Notice how they add flu and pneumonia deaths to the covid totals. Subtract out the historical average deaths from pneumonia and flu (approx 5.8%) that have been happening since forever and Covid added about 0.6% to the totals. In that same chart it shows the seasonal averages going back 3 years. Shame they never say that, even though it is right in your face.
