The BEST protection system a single woman could have is a little Yip dog and a 357 revolver handy. When someone's at the door, the little Yip dog starts barking for you to protect it and gives you enough time to get the revolver.

Thats what my pup is for. I don't need him to attack, I just need him to let me know something is there. An ant can barely cross the yard without a bark! Yeah, sometimes it's a pain in the dick to go check the yard at 3am for it just to be a couple deer eating acorns, but I'd rather have that than us all end up dead because I whipped him for barking to much.......
