So i'm pretty intrigued by this growing trend of Glock 80% lowers. I'll admit up front that theres no way I'm going to spend $800+ to build a Glock when i could buy one used for sub-$500. I just love building stuff, so there's some intrigue to it -- but i'm not convinced of the reliability or cost effectiveness.
BUT -- I've been wanting to toy around with a 17K/19L (G17 with grip cut down to G19 length), and i thought these polymer 80 lowers may be a good route to give it a shot.
There's no way i'm going to buy one if i can't first get my hands on one to see how it feels, etc. Anyone know of an NE Atlanta/Gwinnett area store that sells them -- or an ODT'er who has one that would let me check it out?
