Looking for a Spikes Tactical Glock mag AR9 Pistol Lower can be stripped or completed.

Thanks

Update Looking for Foxtrot Mike pistol lower!

Any particular reason you’re set on a Spikes?

I had one. Heavy lower (for what it is) and it didn’t like anything but OEM mags.

I like the spikes lower. Mine uses glock mags and has LRBHO.
I will be building it as soon as I have time to educate myself on which upper parts to use. Thinking about buying a stripped spikes upper.

Price point, has the LRBHO option, and can use with any regular upper for an ar15. I have found in my limited knowledge that the AR9 World is the wild west. And some companies lowers only work with their uppers etc.

Did not know it only likes OEM Mags, shouldn't be a huge problem for me. I have a lot of OEM mags.

Do you still have a AR9? What are you into now?

Thanks!

I shoot them competitively in USPSA.

I think the Foxtrot Mike is a far superior lower to the Spikes. Similar price point and a far more robust LRBHO feature. It’s also been designed with the magazine a few mm’s forward of where most lowers position the Glock mags to ensure proper feeding (a big problem with some lowers and barrel combos).

There’s really not as much upper/lower incompatibility as you’d think.

Most folks that think that have spent too much time on Palmetto State Armory’s website. Their lowers will work with any upper - you really just need to be sure that your bolt is cut to work with Glock mags. Has nothing to do with the actual upper.

The Spikes will be ok. But certainly not my first choice at the price point.
