our constitution was founded on christian principles as well as others , arguements against it is the old politics and religion speech , two things should never be disscussed bla bla bla i would like an OPEN forum to be free to discuss scriptures different denomanation beliefs , pratices, as well as prayer requests . if a person doesnt want to vist a forum like that they can exercise there freedom to choose and choose to go on to another forum and yes its been pointed out to me my grammer sucks so i skipped that class lol doesnt mean i dont have an opinion

I agree with James. As long as it is in a separate section from the general discussion. Steve mentioned creating the "Boiler Room" forum and it sounds like a great idea.

I was raised Christian but I'm now an agnostic theist. It will be interesting to see how tolerant or narrow the people here are.

Typical response.

The last time I checked this is the South and we do live in Georgia so naturally the most widely practiced method of spirituality is going to be Christianity. Thus the reason for a significantly greater number of Christian responses. Best I can tell there's no Christian elitist conspiracy in place here. To take part in this section your going to have to have thick skin and understand that you're in South Georgia where most people still believe in GOD, GUTS and GUNS.

Not trying to come down on you and your beliefs it's just the way it is. Personally, I'm a born again sinner washed in the blood of my saviour Jesus Christ. However, having said that........I'd fight to the death for your right to religious freedom.

The south as you know it is changing rapidly. I have rhinoceros hide and wasn't to concerned with tough debate and discussion . It has been my experience that the mainstream gets upset with nonChristian beliefs and view points. My point was if the majority don't want nonJudeoChristians to participate ,now would be the time to polarize the forum. Other wise ,let the good times roll . :blabla::)

all should be welcome. i would ask the non believers why , the jews about kosher, ect, ect ,i was raised hard baptist .you know the ones who cant do this cant do that. baseball games sin, sin, sin, but as i got older and studied i learned. the scripture in kjv says . 2timothy 2/15 study to show thyself approved, unto GOD, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed{ rightly divideing }the word of truth . a forum like that could be helpfull . and eye opening as in all forums here we have to keep a sense of savility. or risk getting kicked out .same applies to any other forum on. the out doors trader

As Jay Leno said....(paraphrased) " the country is at war with Afghanistan- and practically the whole Middle East, our economy is suffering like it hasn't since the Great Depression, Unemployment is at an all time high....do we REALLY want to take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance, right NOW??"..

Spiritual forum sounds like a good idea to me....don't want it? don't visit., just like the knob on the radio/tv..

I'd actually like to "have" them, but I have been on message boards since message boards started and Religion and Politics ALWAYS cause debates, which lead to arguing and nothing more. That's 2 things I dont talk about with my friends or my family. If I can't live by EXAMPLE, then I am not doing my job anyhow so why bring it to a faceless society? It never ends nicely.

Why create a reason to argue?

Anybody know where the smiley face eating popcorn is at? Or the one that stirs the pot? And no, it's nice to just have a trading board. Lots of other sites for religion. And yes I would still express that no opinion at church on Sunday.

same kinda mentality people took when prayer was taken out of school. god is like a colmen lantern turn the talk down low enough it goes away !!! the more we dim his light the darker we become .
