Springfield XDs?

I love the XDS in 45... best carry gun I ever had. I can't say I've ever had any problems with light strikes on it, and it's probably got 1500 rounds or so by now.

It's a lot more comfortable to shoot than a pocket 40, and it's very controllable and accurate for such a small gun. It grips well and the aggressive texture means it won't squirm around too much.

The only issue I've ever heard about is when people try to ease the slide back rather than just letting it rip when reloading from a full mag. It needs that slide speed to strip off and seat that top round under full spring pressure. If you try and slow it down by hand it can jam up. It may feel like the slide is slamming home too fast, but that's how it was made to work.

As for why you see so many, I think there's a good number of flippers out there, since these are popular guns but still in short supply.

I had one once too that I got in a multi-gun trade for my Sig Scorpion. It was a great little shooter, and definitely packed a punch..both on target and in your palm. But I wanted a G19 since everyone praised them, and I fell in love with that one, so the XDs had to go.

Like one of the above posters mentioned, you really have to rack that slide hard, both chambering a round and if you're taking a round out at the end of the day. I tried casually pulling the slide back to let the bullet fly out to catch, like I have done with ease on all my other guns, but that sucker jammed instantly. Seriously, you have to rack that think vertical like you're a true OG.
