Springfield XDs?

XDs Bitone/Stainless, great gun easy to carry zero issues with it. Not sure why a previous post mentioned stay away from the extended mag? Mine runs fine with it. As everyone has said, don't be gentle with it, rack that slide back crisply with speed and it'll feed the first round fine. Same with clearing it, don't be gentle if you are the round will catch, no problem typically just pull the slide back all the way drop the mag and tap it... Points/Shoots very well for it's size, recoil more than managable, doesn't bother my hands at all running plus 50 rounds through it. I suppose if you have smaller hands it might being a single stack but I have medium size hands so it fits me well and doesn't bother me a bit.

I also wondered why so many come up on the trader, I think what happens is alot of people buy them and never carry them as they go for pocket pistols like the LCP. I know mine I don't carry as much as I do my LCP right now but I still couldn't sell it, looks great carries with ease, just a nice pistol for it's size and caliber.

Also people may be buying it and finding it's not really a range gun and they don't shoot it all that much so they trade it off for something thats higher capacity and more suited to frequent range use.

I had an XDs and had no problems with it......It is a handful of gun. Hurt my hand after firing 50+ rounds through it....(I might be a wuss but I decided to fire 45s in larger frame guns)

I had the same experience. I liked the compactness and light weight of the XDs45 but 50-100 rounds was all I could stand to shoot from it. I have a XDm9 3.8 that holds twice as many rounds and is very comfortable to carry in my Mtac holster plus I can shoot it all day without any fatigue so I sold the XDs. I plan on getting the XDm45 3.8 as soon as I find one at a decent price.

I am also a member at Xdtalk and their are a lot of XDs45's for sale there as well. Someone started a thread over there asking the same question as the OP, why so many XDs45's for sale!

Well thanks guys but I bought a m&p shield 40 on a impulse buy, kinda like the .40 plus I already have plenty of ammo for it since I already have the xdm in a .40

MP Shield is a great gun also. I have the XDS and it's a great little gun never had an issue and I must just naturally rack with authority, as I never really tried to snap it back but it's never given me any problem what so ever. no the Ruger LCP I had is a whole different story!

Great choice on the M&P. I have three XDm's currently and owned a few others that I sold because I had duplicates. I bought a M&P45 on an impulse buy and found that I like it as much as the XDm's I have. In fact I feel the M&P has a better grip, I just don't see why they made it to hold just 10 rounds. I haven't shot the M&P enough to compare accuracy with the XDm, thats on my list of things to do this weekend.

Don't over look the M&P40c. Compact, low recoil, good capacity, accurate, extremely durable and reliable, and not really bulky IMO. I love mine.
