the TCP trumps it in every way...trigger, sights, price, warranty, included # of mags, etc.

My daughter in law has one in pink and stainless. When she first got it it had a real bad problem with FTFeed and was nearly impossible to break down. Sent it to Taurus on their dime and got it back in exactly 7 days. Runs flawless since we got it back.

Ive had the same experience with different Taurus models, but when they come back its the end of the issues. Actually goes to a competent gunsmith on that warranty return I imagine. Glad they fixed it for her (thats their rep).

I'm thinking about selling or trading my sr1911 and picking one of these up. I'm just not sure whether I want to go .40 or .45.

Go with the 45 for sure !I've been carrying mine for 6 months don't even know it's there. Just got a 9mm for practice gun much cheaper to shoot .
