If I were you, I would look at a better brand. I have owned and used chainsaws all of my life. I bought a Stihl about three years ago and it is truly the worst saw I have ever owned.

Stihl is the best brand of chainsaw out there. You got a lemon..... which is rare. Usually user error

Well I have to say that I miss the old days when chainsaws were not made of plastic. I will say one huge complaint with the Stihl is no manual boiler. It is a joke not to have a manual oiler.
Ahhh yes..the good old days , when your 3/4 h.p. saw weighed 50 lbs.
I have a Poulan 120 vac electric chain saw that only has a manual oiler. It's fun to operate. It's like patting your head and rubbing your stomach while your are cutting and oiling.
I like Huskies also, but they are little heavier than the Stihl.
