The little dogs were raising cain. A armadillo, first one I have ever seen anywhere. It was on my farm. In the front field and I didn’t have a gun. If I smoke one, is there any special way to handle the varmint. I put on gloves for any dead critter I have to handle. Do they carry any diseases to worry about.

They can run faster than you too
I watched several last week really close up. They are a really unique looking critter people have them for pets so I don’t think there’s any leprosy.
But they're incredibly dumb.
If you're sneaky, sneaky you can creep up behind them and kick them in the ass....wear boots.
I mostly grab a trash bag, invert it to handle the carcass, cinch it up and throw it into the dumpster on trash days.
