Subsonic 300 blk out using AA5744

So not being able to find any 1680 I managed to find 5744. I used nosler 220 hpbt over 10.9 grains of 5744.coal 2.120
all rounds functioned the AR. Unfortunately they also crack the sound barrier barely but notisable. Yes I was using a suppressor.
Anyone worked up a sub load with this powder? Going to try 10 and see what the results are.

Do .5 grain runs of three and Chronograph. Good luck I use 1680 and H110. Have not tried another..

I have used 10.5 grains of AA5744 with 208 grain hornady BTHP with coal of 2.250. They cycle well and stayed right around 1000 fps. The problem I found was that 5744 doesnt meter well in a Dillon. somehow getting your hands on some 1680 is your best bet unless you plan to use single stage.

im going to try 10 grains of 5744 with the 220 noslers. 2.120 coal. they worked great at 10.9 but, just cracked the sound barrier. I had an accident with my chrony (blew it to hell with a full power .308) so i have to rely on my ears and fuction.
do you think 2.120 is the causing the increase in velocity.
