Suburban Wildlife and then some!

I live in a suburban Cobb County neighborhood and saw 3 does in my backyard last week. This morning while taking my dog for a walk around the local school grounds a doe and the stag pictured walked by me 30yds. away. Between fumbling with my camera phone and the dog leash this photo was the best I could do.

This is the first time I have ever seen deer in our developed community - maybe they are more plentiful this year or have discovered a place that is safe. Couldn't count properly because of the stag's movement and my excitement but I estimated at least 8 points. Beautiful animal.

That would be whitetail buck. Not busting your chops, but we don't have Stag's here. He is a beaut though.

Heck one of the best places I like to go look at deer. Sadly I can't hunt them is this huge subdivison near my house.

I saw a doe on moores mill road in Atlanta and a pack of coyotes off university ave a few miles from Turner field.

Heck there was a group of does today on the side of 400 near northridge exit. Those deer will never know danger except for a moving car.
