for a hunting rifle, Timney or Jewell. Rifle Basix is ok but I found out they weren't that consistent.
Suggestion on aftermarket trigger for Remington 700

Willyjoe0118, if you want to, you're welcome to get the trigger and come by my house/shop. I'll drop it in for you for free, and look your Rem700 over for you in the meantime. I'm an Armorer for the Rem700.
We shot benchrest for years and TIMNEY, and JEWEL Triggers were all we used and had very good experience for over 20 years...
Just a suggestion, plus that's what we put in our 700 Remingtons that had recalls, we just sent the factory triggers that were recalled back to the factory service department and they sent us new remington replacements to us and they are now put up on the spare parts shelf for those rifles.
