Nothing like a good piece of leather. Saw some good ideas above. Also vintage Bianchi or maybe Galco. You used to get the old stuff for a reasonable price though

I'll second the recommendation on Rod Kibler. He's one of the best.

go with the taylor's smokewagon, I sold my vaquero and got that. the smoothness,timing, trigger pull are unmatched for the value. The italians do it better and I know that is going to trigger some people, but it he wants a colt without paying colt prices for with the Taylor's. They hand tune those guns and they are family owned in virginia. as far as leather too check out taylors was well

I'll second the Taylor tuned Smokewagon. I've got one in 45LC and it's a helluva pistol.
