How do you get rid of the sulfur smell in well water. The system has a particle filter on it where it enters the house, but obviously it doesn’t filter out the sulfur smell. It get awful bad when the water isn’t ran a few days while out of town. Anybody know how to fix it?

Chlorine bleach into the well head. Good filtration system. Also, make sure you don't have a p trap going dry. With this low humidity they can dry out fast and you might be getting odor back up from the septic and just think that it is the water.

You may need to drain and flush your pressure tank and hot water heater tank. If they have sediment in them, the water sitting in there picks up the sediment odor.
