Sunday afternoon irritation

I was on my way back from a shooting match years ago, my friend was driving. We were in Florida and we saw a Seminole Indian Police officer on the road (Alligator Alley). My friend was speeding and he asked if he thought the cop could pull him over, I said let's find out......he did, we did and yes he did (my friend, got a ticket lol). So the only way to find out the true answer is go for it and see what happens......

yep and even a GW can pull you over for speeding..

I know when I leave church it'd be damn near impossible to get out if it wasn't for the Gwinnett county "nozzles". Seriously, GA 20 outside of 12Stone, no "nozzles", good luck. They would end up having to come and direct traffic anyway due to all of the accidents.

To be clear - the officers directing traffic aren't a problem in this situation. These are guys just making some extra part time cash. There are also plenty of times when that type of traffic control makes sense.

Done just for convenience it bothers me, and I question why I should have to stop for any random person stepping into the road and throwing their hand up.

The way I see it the problem isn't that they help people leave the church grounds safely. It's that they feel the need to empty out the whole parking lot while holding up traffic.
