suppose there might be a reason not to exit your vehicle at an animal park?

I stayed at a preserve in South Africa for a few days. Cheetah was the only big cat that it was safe to be outside of a vehicle with them nearby. That said.... There were rules. Don't get too close. Remain standing up, don't squat down etc. so that you'd look meal-sized. No little people that might be mistaken for a prey animal. Don't run away from the carnivore, like its prey does... There was also a fella with a rifle with us, just in case the Cheetah forgot the rules. We were allowed to walk up to a smallish female cheetah within about 20 feet, in the bush.
Mamma saved her baby. Daddy saved his own ass.
If that was her husband, she needs to divorce his ass.
