I am going to assume this was with Supersonic ammo? If not, that's a hell of a DOPE call. Good shot either way.

Yeah it was a 185 grain juggernaut load from my .308. The other one with it walked within 20 yards of me after I shot with supersonic ammo.

No venison so far this year but I'm being picky and hunting mostly with subsonic G2R Trident which limits my range. This was last year and my first year suppressed all season.

Coyotes this year had a bad day though.

Have you ever had a deer kill with the Trident? What are you trying to hold your range to?

I have with Lehigh Max Expansion. Complete pass thru at a out 15 yards and never found the projo. Doe ran about 40 yards and piled up. I keep my range qt 60 yards or less. I'm looking forward to see what the Tridents do.

I use the subsonic 308 170gr Lehigh controlled fracturing bullets by beck ammunition and they are awesome . My rifle is sighted in a 100 yards

What'd the exit wound look like. I shot a doe with Remington 220 subs in 300blk last year and wasn't too impressed with the damage.

From the looks of it, the round went straight through, but as I was skinning him there was small piece of projectile behind rear ham, so it somewhat came apart but mostly straight through.
