Suppressor for a 40

Does anyone know what is required to get a suppressor for a Sig 40 cal.?

try the class 3 and NFA section.

But to answer your question, ATF forms filled out, a trust or CLEO signature, Tax stamp, threaded barrel, and a can.

First thing you will want to do is talk to a lawyer and have a trust set up OR you can go to bullseye in lawrenceville and buy your suppressor there. They do that for free. That saves you money. Once you do that, you pick out the suppressor you want, you fill out the paper work, you send the paperwork and a check for 200 dollars to the BATF. Then you wait for 6 months and they call you when its ready to be picked up. DONE!

no problem. I bought my first 9mm suppressor at bullseye because they do the trust for free. That saved me 100 bucks right there. I bought a cheap 200 dollar 9mm can and boom. I waited the 6 months then I picked my can up. just make sure you do your research and pick the right can because they can be a PITA to sell.

FYI there are Trust document examples sticky'd here that have been known to work, you can fill in the blanks quite and have a trust at no cost. If you want to suppress your 40 consider getting a 45 can so you can suppress 9,40, and 45.
