Suppressor - what, how, and where

To OP of this thread: I see you're in Cherokee County/Canton. GA Firing Line in Marietta has a kiosk and is a very simple trek down Canton Road to get there from Holly Springs/Canton. They'll be where I go once I buy my first suppressor.

To ReservoirDawg10: I hate to ask what may sound like a stupid question, but can I actually get my fingerprints/information done before I even buy a suppressor or begin shopping for one? Or do I have to wait until I physically purchase the suppressor at the FFL? I'm still in the research phase.
You can get it all done early and be ready to rock.

You're about two hours from both Liberty and Can Co. I bet there are makers closer that I don't know about. Having a he manufacturer within driving distance could come in handy.

I know Can Co has a kiosk in the shop.

Yes, go to the police station and get your fingerprints done there or through the silencer shop kiosk and you can just have them on hand.
Go to CVS or Walgreens to get passport photos as well and have them on standby. I believe passport pics are good for a year, if I'm not mistaken.

The fingerprinting process down at the Cherokee Co. Sheriff's off Univeter Road is quick and easy. If you're over 55 ( I think ), it doesn't even cost you.

I was in and out in about 10 minutes.

How is everyone doing on wait times? I kept seeing folks talking about 10-14 days and I am about to hit 30. Quite Riot used to be the place to go on the southside but they are VERY low on inventory these days. Grove down in Locust Grove has a nice selection on hand but no kiosk.
I had 2 cans approved in less than 24 hours recently. One from Silencershop, one from Capitol Armory.
