Sushi...you either love it or hate

What are the two yellow blocks on the left? Egg? everything else I recognize, but that one has me stumped.

In Tokyo..... Insanely fresh!

Love sushi! Depending on how comfortable you are, Publix sells Sushi for 5.00s on Wednesday. My local Publix has an Asian lady that actually makes it herself and they are DELICIOUS.

Sam's and Publix sushi is ok in a pinch, but Ta Ki or Mo Mo Ya is way better...never had sea urchin but unagi is my favorite

Gross. Zattarains and only Zat's for boils. And note that's NOT the Tony's original "Creole Seasoning" It's the blue label "Spice n Herbs".
Try it. I promise you'll recognize Old Bay for the Yankee nonsense it is.
BTW, not long ago I was digging through some of my Mom's old cookbooks and found this from the mid-70s...

Never tried Tony's Spice & Herbs. Now I gotta find some!

I will be having some tonight. Light to modest sprinkling on catfish filets in the air fryer. That's it. The flavor absolutely belies the simplicity. I'm not above taking the easy way out on good eats! ;)

Headed off this morning for weekend away with the wife, this thread had me wanting some sashimi/sushi. BUT, before I could order that I saw the Spam bowl for $13. Bargain. Could not pass it up. Three thin slices of grilled Spam, wafer thin sliced pickled cucumber and rice. Whole thing was drizzled with Unagi(eel) sauce and was actually delicious. I'll get some raw fish tomorrow for lunch.
With that mark-up I'm surprised they didn't have Glocks on the menu.
