Sushi...you either love it or hate

That's a bridge too far for me. I tried it once...I couldn't get past the visual.

There's a place in West Campus called Musashino something or the other. It's by the big gun store off Lamar. They had Otoro and it was pretty good as I recall. It's been several years, though.

I'll have to look that up. Thanks.

(I actually like Century egg, but you don't gotta eat it-- just see if they have it!)

Found it ^

It's an office park looking thing. You'd easily miss it if you weren't looking. Hopefully it's worth a trip, if not, I apologize in advance. I was out in Austin a few years ago visiting family and needed to get out, so I went window shopping at the gun store and had lunch at the sushi place. It was pricey, so, fair warning.

Couple good spots in Knoxville and a nice one right outside Knoxville called Sakura. Good sushi there.

I get grocery store sushi here sometimes. It's a fat east TN white girl making it though. I say she's white....I don't to mis-identify her....

You just haven't had it cooked correctly. I had octopus in Northern Spain that was marinaded then char-grilled.
It was awesome...easily cut with a fork.

I had raw octopus in Korea. Tasted good but the whole moving around in my mouth and attaching to my tongue was too much for me.
