Aside from "Casting" lead projectiles, even those designed for gas checks,
anyone into the serious art of Swaging SPMJ's?

Can it be done inexpensively?
Does it really save you any money?

BTW: This website contains a very thorough primer on bullet shapes and designs
as well as well as why they are shaped or formed as they are ... good reading

used to have several sets of Corbin dies and the Little swagger they make. they were expensive then and now....Jeesss

fun extension of you reloading hobby but Not cheap by any means

Corbin makes quality stuff... we were making bonded bullets in the 70s with their stuff... also used soft plain copper jackets to make hunting bullets so nothing really new.. even tried to make some partition style buillets....the major manufactures simply copy the custom bullet makers.

takes quit a bit of practice to turn out quality bullets that will shoot well

sold all my stuff several years back when I figured out the commercial bullet makers really do produce great bullets in mass and cheaper too. You do learn alot about bullet construction..

they do make dies to convert 22 LR brass to .224 bullets that is about as cheap as you get doing your own
