If its thin like a coke can or just touch thicker. You can use a long straight edge and a sharp razor knife and score it a few times and then you can work it and it will break right off.

That's what the gutter installers used at my house.

Thanks everyone.

It's 1/8 thick trim so I just went with an 80 tooth carbide blade on my table saw. Works like a charm as long as you go slow.

Something else to consider, if the metal is to thin it may slide under the table saw fence when ripping. I use an extra board and clamp it to the fence to prevent this.
