Tacos from Burger King

I had seen commercials for Burger King's new tacos and decided to get some yesterday. The food at our local Burger King is usually very good so I ordered 3 Tacos. What I got were 3 shells that were burnt to a crisp with almost no lettuce or meat. They were inedible. I don't if this was the fault of the person that fixed it or if that is their version of a taco.
I succumbed to curiosity as well. Inedible is being generous, those things should be banned from even being called tacos. Just horrible is the only way to describe them, like chewing on a seashell.

Granted tacos SHOULD be simple enough for fast food employees to pull off. But I can tell you from experience that they can and they will. It's kinda like when you're in smaller towns and see one of those combined KFC / Taco Bell stores. You can't get anything worth a damn from those places. And they will ALWAYS screw up your order.

Some of you may remember Del Taco from the '80s. Hell I ate breakfast there! They are back in limited areas. The 2 locations I know are Roswell and Gainesville. Better flavor than Taco Smell, attentive staff, I got the feeling they really cared if the food was good, good eats! No, I'm not a manager, just glad to see Pepsi get a run for the money.

I tried them (Burger King cheap tacos) 2 weeks ago. Thumbs down.

1-- the crispy shell was horrible, both in taste and texture.

2-- As Clara Pellner once said, WHERE's THE BEEF ?!?

3-- even the lettuce and cheese didn't even come close to filling the shell. It was like a tablespoon of ingredients in a shell that was made to hold for 5 tablespoons worth of stuffing .
