Looking for a backpacking rifle, ideally chambered for .22, but will consider alternatives. Something like a 10/22 takedown, ar7 etc.

Doesn't have to be pretty.

I'm stationed at Benning but will gladly travel to you.

Thanks!

I have a Ruger 10/22 Stainless Steel Takedown w/ threaded barrel (factory). I may let it go but it has to be at the right price. I do love the thing and I haven't seen one available in a while. If you want to pm me an offer I'll look at it!

Marlin made a takedown version of 795
called a papoose. 795 semi-auto like
model 60 but mag fed instead of tube.
Early papoose wood stock & blue, later
synthetic w/ stainless.

I've seen those before. Anything like that would work for me, I just need something that I can pack in a hiking ruck easily. I'm even open to a PCC.
