I've only owned a 24/7 in .40 but it was a good gun. In a concealed carry mag I was reading (an older mag) they were doing a comparison between the pt111 g2 and the shield and it got pretty good reviews by the magazine. For $178, i'll just about try any gun to be honest. I'm not pulling the trigger though b/c I just bought a gun today and I'm already figuring out how to avoid getting yelled at by the lil lady so I can't chance it on buying 2 in one day haha.

I had the same problem. They pulled the non blem pt111 so they probably over sold them

I didn't see any PT-111 left but they do have the PT-709 slim for $196 as well as just about every other taurus model on sale (blems)
