Taurus tx-22 TORO w/Viridian optic and 5 mags $340 shipped

Update, works fine unsuppressed. Suppressed is the finicky side, gonna have to try different combos of optics and weight on the slide.

Also my buddy put a holosun k optic on his and it just about immediately stripped the threads in the slide, so just a heads up be safe on how much torque you use for the optic. I was below the torque spec and it still stripped it. Easy fix though

Below the torque spec is probably why it stripped the threads. The screws aren’t designed to be pegs holding the optic in place. They aren’t designed for shear loads. they’re providing clamping force which is what keeps the optic in place. Torque values exist for a reason.

Okay so sorry let me be more clear for the guy who for sure assumes he knows more than me, I am a idiot, I used a torque a screw driver to make sure I was in spec and spec is 15 inch-pounds (in-lbs) according to all the sources; and that’s standard factory spec for most optics on pistols. I went to 14 since it’s a aluminum slide and work my way up to 15 for this reason since my screwdriver and increase/decrease in increments of 0.01, and it still stripped the screw hole most likely because it’s Taurus, not because “tHe tOrQue vALUes eXiST fOr A rEaSoN” come on bro why you gotta be a doush.

Additionally for anyone who wants to know. About 4 other people I know who have this gun haven’t had the issue. My money is on factory defect, but again it’s a easy fix if you are good with your hands

I didn’t assume. You said you torqued it less than the called for value. Glad you clarified. Sorry they stripped out on you.

I found a chassis from Calloway Design. It was $89 or so. It didn’t come with the M1913 brace. I had one on my Charger that I’ll move back and forth. Pretty solid design. It’s a game changer with this and the FRT. Very comfy and easy to control. On another note, the Pro Mag 21 round mags haven’t worked well with the FRT. the factory mags have.

I grabbed a chassis as well. It is a nice add.

I picked up a cheap viridian optic adapter RMSc to Acro, put the Steiner mps on it with a x300 and it runs perfectly suppressed. Using a rugged oculus 22 with standard blazer lead nose 38g rounds. I had to do about two mags of break in but after that you can shoot all your mags back to back with about 98.5% reliability
