Test ride

Alright fellow bikers. Selling a motorcycle and doing it privately on the dreaded CL. There is some interest and I know that some folks will want to test ride.

The test ride is what scares me. I don’t want someone to either steal my scooter, wreck my scooter or come out just so they can see if they really want a bike.

The only things I can come up with for allowing a test ride are to have a stack of cash in my hand, a pic of their license with motorcycle endorsement, and possibly the keys to their vehicle. Anyone got anything else that I can ask for or better ideas for allowing a test ride.

I've sold bikes, hold cash, license and keys.

I've bought and sold aircraft, (none a single seater), and always test flown, can't believe anyone would buy without flying.
