My step mom did a recipe like that for tenderloin.....always worked out perfect....DO NO OPEN THE OVEN!!!!Can't say i ever cooked a piece of meat in a boil bag,, BUT if your doing a standing Rib roast the absolute beat way to do it is, we do ours in a case iron pot, spread your butter mixed with all your season all over the prime roast, cook at 500degrees for 5min per pound then turn off the oven and DON"T OPEN DOOR FOR 2 HOURS .
Yep, the frozen ones from Publix are just fine, I think they're called Maple Leaf Farms. I've ordered a fresh one before from PA where they will harvest the duck and ship it to you in dry ice overnight or 2-day, but that was about twice as expensive.i should try duck. You just use Publixs ones?

I’m in for the dressing recipe!Everyone will be coming to my place this year. I have a 19 lb Butterball I'll be roasting. Making my mom's dressing recipe. Probably do some broccoli and cauliflower with cheese sauce and mashed potatoes. My little sister will make some fresh yeast rolls. I'll also be getting a bunch of oysters as an appetizer. It will be good.
I can swing by and bring you some pork beans and Vienna, sausages and saltine crackersDepends on my EBT status. Might be having beef broth from a cube and some stale saltines.

What time we eatin...?Hosting for both sides of the family for the fourth year in a row. Usually ends up around 30 people. I do all the meats 2 turkeys 1 fried, 1 smoked, 1 brisket, 1 ham.
Pretty simple hybrid of bread and cornbread. Boil the giblets in salted water so you create some broth to moisten the dressing. Depending on how much you want to make bake a pan of cornbread and let it cool (only after you tested a piece with a big blob of butter while it was hot). Get plain old white bread and cube it up. It's about 50/50 cornbread/bread mix. Add some dehydrated minced onion and poultry season. Mix it all up and then add your broth until it gets well moistened. Stuff away. A good way to use this dressing for other dishes is with grilled pork chops. Make a batch of dressing and spread it on a baking sheet. Grill pork chops for a couple of minutes a side. A little under done. Put the chops on the sheet of dressing and put the sheet in the oven at 350 for about 15-20 minutes. The juice from the chops gets into the dressing. It makes a delicious meal.I’m in for the dressing recipe!
