It was always earlier than that......Didn't mind it so much at my last job
Heck I didn't even want to get out of bed!! Course I was working a hard labor job. And the boss wasn't happy unless everyone was miserableBill, what if you're sad at 8:00pm & 8:00am? 2 hours after ya get to work your like, "only 6 more to go 😢"
Amen. I have an old truck down stairs to work on if I just have too. Stocks are doing well this morning. It's raining this morning....think I'll just stay in.......

And nice to be in the dry.......Not Sunday here, it was Rainday here….
I wouldn’t know. And nice to be in the dry.......
And that’s exactly what I did yesterday lol.
I used to work no matter what the weather was, outside. I've been soaked to the bone. In -60* windchill on a 2nd or 3rd story platform. the boss built a fire on the ground, but you couldn't go warm yourself. And got smoked out to boot. Had icicles hanging off my mustache. Been so muddy when I got home I had to take my cloths off before I went upstairs. Been on concrete slabs that were 140*. In attics that hot with no air moving. Down in ditches full of tar. Up on roofs that'd burn you through you're cloths. So cold you don't thaw out till June. So hot you can't eat lunch, it'd make you sick. Working in a kerosene heated building suffocating. Latter your Wife could smell it on your breath that evening. Working under the edge of a roof the snow was melting off of and running down my back. Working on a roof putting down decking where it was iced over. And out in the scorching sun doing hard labor all day, day after day and week. Even months at a time. Not to mention up to 17hr shifts at a time and 28 days straight. Nope, I'm good. One thing for sure it doesn't kill ya, it'll make you tough. Even poured concrete and laid block foundations. The para military life was a piece of cake. Days, nights, weekends and holidaysI wouldn’t know.
God bless you brother! Can’t work anymore, I hurt too dang much…… don’t have any money either !! lol.
But sundays are still Sunday.![]()
