Details:
We are celebrating our 2 year anniversary at Big Woods Goods this Saturday, May 19th!
We are renting out the entire gun range and archery range for three hours, from 5-8 PM.
We will have drinks, hot dogs, hamburgers, etc, so come hungry!
This is open to everyone so bring your friends or family and help us celebrate two years of The Outdoors Trader!
There will be a GAcarry.org booth at the event in case you need to renew your membership or sign up for the first time!
We will also have lots of door prizes at the event, a list can be seen here: http://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/showthread.php?t=152790
Use of the range:
This is only necessary to shoot at the event, it is not needed to attend!
If you have never shot at Big Woods Goods before and plan to shoot at the event you will need to sign a waiver and acknowledge that you have read the range rules.. You can do it there or save some time and fill them out before you get there. You can view and print them here:

Weapons allowed on the range:
All pistol calibers are allowed up to S&W 500 and 50 AE
All rifles up to 300 win-mag are allowed
Shotguns are allowed as long as they have a stock and you shoot slugs. No pistol grip shotguns allowed.
No full auto weapons allowed
Silencers are ok
ODT Deals at The Event:
Free use of gun and archery range
Free eye and ear protection
$5 handgun rental- Can be shared between folks and they have 40+ handguns for rent, including the 5.7, M&P 22, and other cool stuff
$7.50 rifle rental- Can be shared as well, they have 10+ Rifles for rent
Trading at the event:
You can buy/sell/trade any firearms at the event but you MUST do a transfer with Big Woods Goods if you want to do it on their property. They are doing a special rate of $10 a transaction during our event.
If you want to go down the road and do a trade in a parking lot that is fine, just please don't do it on Big Woods Goods property.
If you want to trade holsters, ammo, etc that is no problem, the only restriction is on actual firearms
I know some folks mentioned having tables and what not but you have to remember this isn't a gun show, it's a meet up. There really isn't any room to set up a bunch of tables everywhere, especially with 200 of us there. I'd say bring a few things, or maybe make a list of what you have and carry it around to discuss trades. Or you could also try to line up your trades beforehand in the ODT Meet-Up forum that I just made.
More Details & FAQ:
If you have any questions please post in here. I had separate threads but found that to be a little difficult to keep track of.
Thanks and I hope to see you all there!

More Details & FAQ:
- No Gunsmith on duty, time permitting they may be able to install night sights
- Knife sharpening- depends on how busy it is. If a ton of us are there they probably won't have time to do it
- Rentals are half-off, so pistols are $5 and rifles are $7.50. Rentals can be shared. Ammo must be purchased from Big Woods Goods for use in the Rental guns. I checked today, they have an M&P Shield 9mm for rent! I also checked their ammo prices, very reasonable and good brands.
- Smoking is allowed on the deck
- Carrying is fine as long as it stays holstered! (Outside of the range I mean)
- There may be some deals for ODT members, if there are they will be posted closer to the event
If you have any questions please post in here. I had separate threads but found that to be a little difficult to keep track of.
Thanks and I hope to see you all there!
