***The Adairsville Tornado***

I want to personally thank all of you whos offering to help..I myself am ok right now. Just gotta go through the steps with insurance company. Theres alot of others that didnt do so well , I wouldn't know how to set anyone up to offer help to the others but I'm sure the redcross or emergency response team could point you in the right directions..and the barn raising well ill have to buy a keg. Because if we get more than 2 odt members it will turn into a party..lol..once again thank you all..

My Dad lives in down town Adairsville and he said it missed his place by about 30 yards. A store right next to him was completely destroyed. Debris busted up his car pretty good and busted out a few windows but thankfully he was ok. He's staying with us for a few days until they can get it cleaned up and power restored. Scary stuff right there. Glad to hear you guys are ok.

Im glad hes ok. The utility company is working there butts off we had power back up in less than 24hr the streets are mostly clear, the police aren't letting people go down our streets without id. And curfew is set dusk to dawn. All I hear is chainsaws, utility trucks, and heilcopters all day.the work pushes on..and our town pulls together to help . neighbors helping neighbors..kinda like the odt community, there are still good people out there. The redcross truck has been going up and down the streets handing out water, food, snacks. I know one thing im gonna have enough fire wood for a bonfire for the year..

Thanks flhx. I'll let him know that power is back on. He'll be glad to hear that. He spent the day yesterday walking around seeing if he could help anyone. Not much he can do at his age, but he tried. Its nice to see neighbors pulling together in times like this.
