The City of Atlanta is really starting to suck

Here is what I propose....

If you really hate Atlanta and are convinced it is surrounded by an impenetrable cloud of 9mm projectiles and crack smoke, then by all means:

1. Don't come down on the weekends to take up all the parking and crowd up all the bars.
2. Don't F up my evening commute because you wanna come watch spoiled brat millionaires play with a ball for a few hours.

I mean really, its not worth your LIFE right?????;)

Lol

Oh really? I didnt realize that Atlanta was home to a large population of immigrants from southwestern Russia. Or did you mean white people?

Sorry scandmx5, thats just one of my pet peeves when people refer to me as "caucasian". Its like people saying "African-American" when they are not referring to people who were born in sub-saharan Africa.

It's a throwback to when I was in school. Back then there were only 3 races: Negroid, Mongoloid and Caucasian. Now Latino and Muslim are races and Caucasians are from the Caucus mountain region. Who knew.

Thebeast - I would happily never set foot in the cesspool called Atlanta. I work weekends and would never consider paying the over inflated prices they charge for tickets to watch "spoiled brat millionaires play with a ball for a few hours" any way. Nor would I want to come to the bars there(I'm both married and too old). I only come to Atlanta to pick up/drop off my son who goes to Ga Tech and when my wife(who thinks big cities are sooo interesting) threatens to divorce me if I don't get her to one.

If I ever saw a handle that said "Flush me, I'm the toilet handle for Atlanta", I'd probably break my arm yanking it. I grew up in and around Atlanta and let me tell you, it needs another good burning.

i was born at Georgia Baptist (now Atlanta Medical Center), grew up most of my life on Campbellton Road, then moved to Duluth in 75. Moved back to the city to go to GSU, then worked downtown for over 30 years. Loved every minute of it. Lived a couple of years in Kirkwood, then the ex got the house. If you live in the city, traffic is not bad; however, it you are commuting, then it sux. I am semi-retired now, and i dont have any problem what so ever going downtown. I think some people are chicken little types (sky is falling). If you dont like the city, thats fine. Dont care. Really. I like Duluth. Would i move back to the city? In a heart beat. Was thinking of buying a house to stay there during the week for my wife, and then come back here on the weekends. I respect other folks's likes and dislikes. This world would be very boring if everyone liked the same thing.
