Pontiac was my favorite GM brand, they made great cars up to and including 1974.

This was my last Pontiac.

Of the big 3, Ford was the only one that didn't except money for the auto bailout. In excepting the money, the government then had a big say so it what GM and Mopar did

Ford took a 6 billion dollar loan from the Govt instead of filing bankruptcy and packaged it up in marketing speak to make it look like they needed no help from the Govt to stay afloat.

Yep. They had the better approach for sure. Regardless, the UAW owns the Big 3's asses and are a large part of why they suck.

From a publicity standpoint yes, as evidence by so many people touting that Ford didn't take bailout money etc...in that regard they won the marketing game. When in actuality they actually got more money than some of the others. Point to Fords marketing team..lol

At least it helped some Americans with that bailout…Now we’re bailing out Ukraine and Israel

Almost bought a ‘93 Thunder Hawk in ‘95 until I called about the insurance. I’d had a decent job for a few years and been paying a house payment a little over a year , but the insurance was almost what the car payment was at 20yrs old lol. Bought a Harley instead and hopped up a ‘93 Pony a little.
