I'd rather have a Ruger .22 than a keltec 9.

If you can handle a bigger round you need to carry a bigger round though.

I wouldn't carry any gun if I didn't know it was 99.99999% reliable so in that scenario I would take the keltec since it would be known reliable.

I would never under any circumstances carry a 22 for self defense unless it was absolutely my only option. Same goes for advising anyone else to carry one.
