I had aS&W 38 JPro air weight a couple of years ago. No Safety hole and it was cut for moon clips.
Wish I had kept it.
This version looks just like it.

Wondering if these new little J frames 32 and 38 can take moon clips?
But looking at the OP posted pic. I’m not seeing any cylinder gap.

An LCP comes in at 10.2 and a 365 is a damn pound.

S&W model 337PD, it's a pre lock 38spl before they started making the 360, 357 mag

I bought this at AO and they had both the black and the SS in 32. Also had the 38 Spl in SS as well.

You typically only use moon clips for rimless cartridges. My 9mm LCR used them, even though the round headspaces off a ledge in the cylinder. The 32 S&W/H&R are all rimmed cartridges so you don't need moon clips.

No wonder she hates carrying this thing in her purse.
How did cops in the old days call this a “backup” and ankle carry it? LoL

Over 1 1/2lbs taped to your ankle, would be limping by the end of your shift.

I know they aren't pretty, but take a look at the LCRs.

They are a lot lighter than a steel frame snubbie in the 38 Special config, and they are very comfortable to shoot because of the polymer frame and the great Hogue Tamer grips they come with. They also have pretty decent triggers.

FWIW I just saw Smith is doing rebates on revolvers starting 11/1. J-frames get a $50 rebate.

S&W can make their J-frames with a decent trigger if they want to.
I had a "Wyatt Deep Cover" also called the "Gunsmoke Edition" that
had a trigger job from S&W's Performance Center, and it was great.
Half the weight of the DA pull on most small-frame revolvers.

No matter what cool new toy or what nifty new holster I've gotten, I can't seem to ween myself off of my humble pocket-carried Airweight 38 J frame. Its been my EDC about 90% of the time, for years now. And, it's been so long since I've fired it, I can't even recall how good or bad the trigger is. ( But I do recall that it aint made for a fun day at the range,unless wasting ammo on basketball-sized groups is your idea of fun, LOL!)
It was pretty cheap back when i got it, plus it's safe, reliable, light, small, and I'm confident 5 +P Gold Dots will be more than sufficient, on the off chance I ever need to even pull it out of its pocket holster.
( Yeah, I can already hear the lectures forming in people's minds, LOL!)
