The first J-Frame I actually liked!

No matter what cool new toy or what nifty new holster I've gotten, I can't seem to ween myself off of my humble pocket-carried Airweight 38 J frame. Its been my EDC about 90% of the time, for years now. And, it's been so long since I've fired it, I can't even recall how good or bad the trigger is. ( But I do recall that it aint made for a fun day at the range, unless wasting ammo on basketball-sized groups is your idea of fun, LOL!)
It was pretty cheap back when i got it, plus it's safe, reliable, light, small, and I'm confident 5 +P Gold Dots will be more than sufficient, on the off chance I ever need to even pull it out of its pocket holster.
( Yeah, I can already hear the lectures forming in people's minds, LOL!)
No lecture from me except that you do need to put rounds through it on a regular basis. I'm always amazed at how much I lose when I don't get to the range fairly often.

It comes back quick, but shooting a snubbie at speed and getting useable hits is definitely not easy. It's a skill that will disappear fast if you don't get the practice in.

I love my 442 with apex trigger kit. Easy DIY kit that takes 20 minutes to install.

Dry fire a few hundred times after that and its slick as a button. It's one I'll keep for forever. I pocket carry it in a custom kydex pocket holster and nonone ever knows I have it on me. Looks like I'm carrying my wallet in the front picket.

LCR has the 327 Federal, so it would shoot the same 32 as the Smith... Now I've started going down this 32 road I may try that next.

I guess Smith was on to something... Ruger just announced their LCR in 32 H&R Magnum.

I have to admit that I don't like the gold color scheme... the Smith is much better looking. The J-frame also has better sights, although you can get the same XS front sight for the LCR.

Maybe this will kick-start companies to make more 32 ammo though.

327s can use any of the .32 handgun cartridges. The 327 probably weighs a little more, which would take some of the sting out of hot .32 H&R. Horses, courses.

I found the LCR too big for pocket carry, which is why I use a j-frame instead.

Good info

Yup, the 327 works with all the 32 revolver loads, but it requires a tougher/heavier frame. I'll have to compare this J frame to an LCR... I thought they were basically the same size.
