Its not bad at all to shoot. Its actually big grin fun. Seriously. The brake helps a lot. I shot @Gadgetsrfun 's.
The recoil did break the scope when I shot it though.

Mine throws the full power .460 slugs very good, but the .45 colt and 454’s will not pattern near as good as the 460 rounds. Anyone else have seen this?

I had one with 8” barrel. My friend has one arm and he could shoot it just fine.

These are guns for fun or for the serious pistol hunter. They are definitely fun.

Remember that this can shoot 45 LC and 454 Casuul

You might be able to shoot the 45 Schofield also.

Yes, I made the mistake of sighting in with 45 Colt, then the 460 was off. Had to re-sight with 460, but the 460 holds a great pattern.

I've have the same issue, I believe it's due to the progressive rifling S&W uses to help stabilize the 460 rds.
I use the 45 colt for plinking, stopped using 454s and load 460 for hunting and accuracy.
