Bout sick of the process myself. On my 2nd safe. Have a 24 and 42.......not worth a damn. Safe room at this point makes more sense.

No clever name has some clever ideas. Sometimes I wonder why I went to college. It is amazing how much extra space optics, bipods, etc take up. My 24 gun case holds only about 16 well organized rifles.

Thats because gun safes that say 52 long in reality men 38.5 if your lucky.

The digging it out begins stacking rifles against the wall, intermittently having to use your spydie sense to catch the domino effect of rifles leaving front sight groves in your freshly painted wall.

It gets even worse when you buy gun socks for each one to keep them from scratching each other and pack em in stacking em one barrel up one barrel down and ignoring the cradles.
It keeps em in good shape but makes em hard to identify, You can still tell the long ones from the short ones but that's about it. I guess I need to start labeling the socks or something.

I kinda of enjoy fondling them and trying to figure out what's under there, reminds me of a first date.

Try different color socks and a sharpie help.
