One concern he does not address is the fact that the head is much more mobile than the center of body, which greatly increases the likelihood of a miss due to target movement. The simplest example of this is the way a person instinctively moves when they duck. A head shot could easily miss, but center mass would still make a good hit.
I got that and it is happening more often, but the vast majority of the time they are not wearing armor or a bomb. I think folks are much more likely to lose the fight because of a missed headshot than the bad guy wearing armor. The best solution is to cover all the bases. Two to the body, one to the head. More to the head if they aren't down yet. Of course, if they are wearing a bomb, you're ****ed either way.His point in this is that chest shots might only be a waste of ammo. More and more shootings the bad guy's are wearing plates.
