Saw the new purge movie the other day, to be honest I was quite surprised and shocked.

It's entirely a political commentary, actually more like propaganda.

Here's the movie in a nutshell from what I understood:

The protagonists are as follows:
-Mexican Immigrant; hard working
-Black business owner
-White secret service agent
-Hillary Clinton (except not)

The preface of the movie is that the fictional "purge" is a hot topic for debate during a presidential election year, and the democratic blonde woman candidate (NOT Hillary Clinton, but who else could it be?) is opposed while the republican candidate supports.

In every sentence the republican says "purge" (which is synonymous with legalized murder), he also says the phrase "founding fathers," which seems like an attempt at word association programming...

Since the race is very close and the republican is the incumbent, the administration removes the normal protection for public officials during purge night. This is so that the NFFA (a political action committee, definitely NOT at all like the NRA) can carry out an assassination of Ms. Not-Clinton.

So fastforward, it's purge night. The NFFA shows up at Clinton's safe house with a 5-man SWAT team with scary evil FN F2000 assault rifles with cans on them. The camera then zooms to the back of the plate carrier of one of the members to reveal the words "WHITE POWER" and a confederate flag on velcro tags.

The SWAT team then mercilessly murders all of the guards in the compound before Action Hero Secret Service agent whisks away Ms. clinton through a hidden trap door and sets a bomb (because everyone brings a bomb with them on security details, but that's beside the point) for the incoming NRA swat team.

Sidestep a bit, Mr. Black business owner and his trusty employee Mr. Misunderstood Mexican are on top of their deli after hours to protect it from looters. Mexican man is very political, so when Action hero man and Ms. Clinton are stranded in front of the deli during their escape attempt, the two lend them a hand. Note that Mr. Black Business man and Hardworking Mexican use revolvers and wood-stock semi-automatic battle rifles (much less evil than their assault weapon cousins).

After the gang is intercepted yet again by the NRA, Ms. Clinton is spirited away while the rest of the gang is left curiously unharmed. They seek the aid of the local Crips set (also misunderstood; good guys) to help them locate Clinton, who is being taken to a special Catholic mass being presided over by Mr. Republican. Initially the crips are hostile toward White secret service agent, but Mr. Black business man clarifies by stating "These are our white people."

At the mass, we can see row upon row of well-dressed white people (who I can only assume are elite christians; the pigs!) chanting in an almost satanic trance. The MC gives a brief "sermon" while Clinton is wheeled onto the stage gagged and tied to a hand-cart. There are numerous mentions of Jesus Christ before and during several murders on the stage by robed priests.

With the help of the crips, the gang of misfit heroes swoop in and save Ms. Clinton, while also brutally gunning down all of the elite pig Catholics sitting in the pews between them and the priests on the stage. Mr. republican man is captured, beaten to within an inch of his life, then set free. Mr. Black business man dies a martyr in the last few minutes of the movie, having been shot by psycho priest with a sawn-off shotgun.

Fastforward, Clinton wins in a landslide victory, and fade to white as Hardworking mexican takes over the deli and rebuilds.

I think this plot synopsis mostly speaks for itself.

Moral of the Story:
-Republicans and white people are evil.
-Christians are evil, especially Catholics.
-White people are okay if they vote democrat.
-Gang members are misunderstood, upstanding citizens.
-Guns with polymer stocks are scary!

I would be most confused about this movie if I was a Mexican Catholic or a Black Baptist.

There's only one movie critic that I read, he leans left, said the movie was awful and anyone who actually believed the parallels the movie wanted to draw between Clinton and the movie character are detached from the real world.

In other words, most of her supporters will probably enjoy it.
