Back in the 80's in magazines like Soldier of Fortune, there was this company called Paladin Press. They were a mail order operation that sold books like 'The Anarchist's Cookbook" and the like.
They sold a series of books by some dude called "uncle Ragnar" and had Ragnar's Book of improvised explosives, Ranger's Handbook of improvised silencers vol. 1 & 2, Etc.
Never read any of them but I still see them for sale at gun shows.
