The Walking Dead returns......

I know it's a show and the logic doesn't HAVE to be airtight but here's my problem...

If they are all infected already then a walker bite which does not prove fatal as a trauma shouldn't be any worse than a non-walkers bite. They had the guy who "turned" in season one from a walker bite without dieing. It doesn't track. And cutting Herschels leg off to keep him from dieing or turning shouldn't track either. Both because he already has the infection in him so it should be only a matter of infection(tetanus, etc) and because the blood flow would already have passed the knee any way.

allow me to use my knowledge from years of watching crappy horror films(i prefer Sasquatch flicks myself)
they have it in their bodies but it is a slow progress nearly standing still like a person with hiv that is just a carrier(thus not effected by it living a normal life). when bitten by a person serveryly infected it introduces a more active version of the virus into the victims body.

this is a zombie show it does not need to make sense, now turn your brain off and enjoy the show

Whew! Thanks! My faith in the concept was on shakey ground for a minute there. Now I believe again.

Damn that was close. ;)

I like the logic....

Anyone ever read this comic? Gives a lot of insight.

Carl was pretty much a basazz in the comic. His walking around wearing a Blackwater shirt is their attempt to take him down that road.

Good episode.
