The Walking Dead returns......

Agreed. Unfortunately last season was necessary character development for the future. Also doing 16 episodes as opposed to the 6 of season one made it seem extra long.

If he is drugging them I think that is a lame sub-plot. I hope it's not that.

Yeah...I just dont see why they couldn't have done the character development a little more succinct rather than taking 16 weeks. It was neat seeing downtown Senoia last week in the episode. I'd like to volunteer to be a zombie in an episode and get picked off...as long as it wasnt by that dumb Carl or that P.I.T.A. Lori.

The governor's scientist/servant reminds me of Gale in Breaking Bad. He brewed up special coffee in the lab with Walt. I was thinking it may have been a nod to BB.

One of the best things out there is watching MrColionNoir and his review of each episode. It's awesome! He cracks me up!

Possibly... however there were more than one mention of "tea" in the episode which I found suspicious, he tells Blondie to drink up the tea and the way Merle was easily controlled (he was never that way in Rick's group) and the way people were acting so "Pleasantville" around town, gardening, weeding, raking, mowing, etc. Maybe there's nothing to the tea...then again, maybe it's the Governor's way of mind control.

The tea thing stuck out to me too. They made a point to show him making several cups. Something is up with the tea and the town in general. The blond chick (can't remember her name) seems to be drinking the cool aid, especially after the meal. Merle isn't his normal psychopathic self either.

i want to se where they take Michonne's character , wonder if they will copy the comic with her and governors relationship, i kinda hope they take another path

I don't see the tea as drugged. Weren't they all drinking the same tea? I can't see the scientist doing that to himself nor the gov... maybe they is drinkin diff tea and I missed that. The wife seems to think that ole Merle might be second guessin his place with the Gov and might be gonna save Andrea and Michonne for himself and go find Darrel. He dint seem to like how the GOV talked down on him.

I haven't read the comic so I dunno nuffin about what is supposed to go down per the comic.

The way I see it the females are docile because they see the gov like a savior not religious style more benevolent KING with a heavy hand style. The males on his crew see the gov/KING as providing females for their enjoyment, tho wife said it looked like GOV/KING might be the only one enjoying that aspect. Michonne dont trust anyone really and wants her weapon, Andrea is a bit too trusting in her eyes, I aint so sure tho Andreas seems to be biding her time and she sees Michonne as not really trusting her.. which I see that as well. The gov don't want anyone but his crew armed and most especially not no females. Maybe I am reading to much into them takin in Michonne and Andrea and killing the troops tho. Maybe they just killed the troops for their arms and supplies.

I hadn't thought about the docility of Michonnes flood buddies (pet zombies/pack mule zombies.. reference from HALO certain flood walkers being harmless after they lose their arms) nor had I considered the camo effect of walking with walkers must be walker (biters to GOV/KING group).

Seems to my family that Ricks group for two seasons was far to complacent and lost people because of it. Even still they do not set guard, sleep in shifts and such like I think you would have to learn to do to survive. GIV/KING settlement seems to have that down better but I aint seen enough to really say. I mean look how many died at the quarry and then how it ended at the farmhouse. Ricks group should hve already been scouting a farm of their own when they knew DOC didn't want them around.

Seems to me that you would want a farm and in that farm you would want a walled inner keep with guard towers and then clear lines of sight for at least 500 yards. You would get everyone learned on bow or crossbow and be building them and making arrows. I'd hit the library and get how to books for everything I could think of. Get me some horses for fast patrol around the farm and go kill every walker I find. Gather some cattle and chickens. I'd be boiling all of my water and cookin everything pretty well done. I'd gather farm implements that dont need gas or diesel and then I would gather all the gas and diesel in the area and use it now while the gas was still good to go out and get more stuff and maybe find more people. grab me a couple school busses and go get the vatoes and the old folks and bring em to my compound. They could use the help should a grouplike GOV/KING show up and they did the vatoes a square deal.

but seriously...didnt anyone notice that the gov shot the AR without a rear sight?? truly written but those KALIFORNICATED guys that dont know a buttstock from a forearm grip
