I know there has been a lot of talk on here about the Wolfman in the past, and just saw it is now on Pew Science. Interesting to see where it falls out. While it is a good 9mm Silencer it did not do quite as good as I thought it would.

I was just reading it. The wolfman is still a great suppressor considering it's a very old design. I think we have had this discussion a few times. Like all suppressors, there is always a trade off for one thing over another. Jay does good reviews but I'm not sure they are 100% strait up at face value, especially on older technology.

Numbers don’t always equate to tone I trust their process and ability to do objective testing but have personal experience too and tone is kinda subjective and hard to measure

Yes, I think Pew science is a great starting point, but I care more about weight and length on 75% of the silencers I buy than sound. There are a few were sound really matters, and that's when you put the nerd hat on and dive into pew science.

Watched a video the other day where they discussed “tone” of suppressors and how that is as important (in their opinion) as the full suppression ratings. A deeper tone is much easier on the ears than a higher pitch even at the same decibels.

I bought a Wolfman recently for a Banshee 9mm and 300 subs and very happy with the performance.
