THERE IS HOPE: Good Samaritan LEVELS a Would-Be Shoplifter, and It's Glorious

Just remember, in Georgia Governor Brian Kemp bowed to pressure, from communists, frim Black Lives Matter, and liberals who want criminals to destroy our country so they can rebuild it as a socialist state.

He lobbied for and then eagerly signed a bill repealing the provisions of our law that allowed for a citizen's arrest.

(a doctrine of law that's existed since the codification of the royal & ecclesiastical laws of Western Civilization some 800 years ago)

The law used to say that any citizen who witnesses a crime in progress can (formerly "should," formerly "must") interrupt it and arrest the offender.

Which of course is pretty much a prohibition on "interfering" or impeding them in any way.

Didn't this bullshyte spring up out of the Arbery case in Chatham Co.?

Yes, But just because two white dumbasses jumped to the wrong conclusion and illegally tried to arrest a black guy* under circumstances which didn't even come close to probable cause that would justify a citizens arrest...

doesn't mean the rest of us should be banned from doing the right thing!

* I know the White guys, after consultation with their attorneys, came up with the story that they were 'not trying to arrest' Ahmaud Aubrey. They're lying.
It is very clear that they were attempting to do a citizens arrest. And they failed both legally and factually.

I remember a night (1986) doing floors at Kroger in Athens, I was in the front near the lobby. Grocery manager hollers at me to, "STOP those thieves!" and two scraggly looking jokers came up through the registers and started moving towards the door. I stepped in front of them but quickly moved out of their way when one produced a nasty hypodermic half full of some doo doo looking water/drugs. As they passed by me I asked them, "Needed any assistance getting your cigarettes to your car?" LOL. I ain't gettin' stuck with a needle for $7.85/hour.

Shoulda showed 'em your moves with that mop...
