This movie is a great surprise. It's a mashup of a bunch of different genres. They Live meets Foxy Brown meets Scooby Doo meets Westworld meets Pulp Fiction.
And if that sounds improbable, it is. And very funny. The writing is really good. Jamie Foxx's character is a pimp, and feels like he's peeled right off the 70s TV show Baretta. He has a ton of funny lines.
Throughout the movie, there is pointed social commentary, but it's going in every possible direction, so it's not politically correct b.s. Nobody is spared from the satire.
