Somehow snake and sweet ain't in my vocabulary......You and me both. My 14 foot Burmese accidently bit my hand going for a rabbit once. Turned my hand black. Bust every blood vessel in it. Scared my snake so bad she wouldn't eat for a week. Sweet girl.![]()
LOL you get to know reptiles and their personalities. Example; I had to tell a girl I was dating to not move a muscle when Kira was crawling past her. Kira drew her head back and started rapidly flicking her tongue in the girls direction. Kira thought it was feeding time. Daddy had to put that snake back in her room. Yep she had her own room in the house there wasn't a cage big enough to hold her.Somehow snake and sweet ain't in my vocabulary......
Toothless?? I personally own snakes as in constrictors (pythons etc) & they have over 100 recurved teeth in their mouth that are literally hair thin and can shred your skin like a piece of paper.. I've been bit quite a few times but they were warning strikes.. that's when they pop ya and let go,if they bite and wrap at the same time then it's time to worry.Just constrictors.
Worst thing she'd get is a nasty squeeze or a toothless bite.

Oh, mine will do the warning strikes and all but my cousin had one (8ft) that bit his calf muscle & wrapped his legs up and as usual we had to start at the tail up to get that ball of muscle off him.. that snake wanted to eat his A$$ bad!! 😂Fair point regarding the teeth, but I've been snapped at by a variety of constrictors and as you say - warning strikes. Usually justified. I think one broke the skin once, but I've had worse hammer bites from my Hi Power.
That snake would've been grave yard deadOh, mine will do the warning strikes and all but my cousin had one (8ft) that bit his calf muscle & wrapped his legs up and as usual we had to start at the tail up to get that ball of muscle off him.. that snake wanted to eat his A$$ bad!! 😂
We used to breed those snakes for really really good money and then we stopped. That particular one he paid $5K for give or take.. each baby hatchling was sold for $2500 each (if not more sometimes)That snake would've been grave yard dead
My roommates ball python used to nap on my chest while I was watching TV. When someone rang the doorbell, I flinched and that lil bastard bit me right on the nose. Looked like someone took 110 grit to my beak.Toothless?? Those ball pythons are cool, until they ain't 😂 its like if you put a Chihuahua attitude in a Pitbulls body then that would be the world's deadliest puppy 😂My roommates ball python used to nap on my chest while I was watching TV.
