I do that too. Even started just overbuying everything by 20 - 25% on purpose.

I generally end up with about $75 - $100 worth of "extras" after each project, I unfortunately forget that I have the "extras" when I start my next project..LOL

I've started rummaging around the storage room and lumber pile BEFORE I begin purchasing.

But when I get to the store I forget what I have on hand so it doesn't matter.

In my early years of marriage with two little ones running around hiding stuff, I hung the tv remote on the wall next to my recliner with velcro.

I put all mine into a cardboard case and now I can't find the case. At least people will be having a laugh at my "estate sale" rummaging around and wondering what kind of lunatic hoarder lived here.

I just bought an mos plate for Holosun for a Glock 20 mos and I’ve got two I bought April and don’t know where I put them! Can’t remember names . I can still find my way home though Lol !
